Mission Statement     Evangeline Charter Tours is committed to provide safe, knowledgeable, affordable and entertaining tours to travelers of all age groups. Who we are     Evangeline Charter Tours is a well-established and trustworthy motor coach tour company operating out of the town of Middleton in the Annapolis Valley, Nova Scotia, a province in Atlantic Canada.  The company has been in operation for more than eleven (11) years.  They are members of the Better Business Bureau, Canadian Federation of Independent Businesses and the local Chamber of Commerce.  Its past experiences also allow them to customize tours for clients who look for specific destinations.  Such unique requests may be for a day tour, an overnight excursion, three days, and even up to 20 days.  Besides tours within the province of Nova Scotia , Evangeline Charter Tours offers tours to P.E.I., Cape Breton (including the Cabot Trail), Québec, Magdalen Islands , Gaspé, Ontario and several destinations in USA .  You always enjoy these destinations in the comfort of a deluxe air-conditioned motor coach.     Some tours are all-inclusive packages, other include some meals with entry fees to sites visited, or some meals with entry fees to shows booked as part of the tour.  Luggage handling and sales taxes and breakfasts are always included in the prices quoted.     Pick-up stations are in the Valley, the South Shore , Halifax, Truro, and Sydney or Yarmouth for some tours.  However, some tours may have different pick-up stations, especially the customized ones.     Evangeline Charter Tours is also an official agent for Thomas Cook.  This means you can book your winter resort destination, your cruise and even your plane ticket to most destinations.   Through testimonials from customers, the company has gladly accepted suggestions for changes, new tours and new adventures.  Evangeline Charter Tours is currently working on developing such tours to better serve its customers.  Recently, Evangeline Charter Tours has been approached to work with tour companies from Egypt and Turkey . We are also the receptive operator for cruise ships coming to Digby.    Brochures are available on all its trips.  Services are bilingual (English and French).  Tours are open to travellers of all age groups.  Travel insurance is also available through its office.  We also accept credit cards.  Special discounts are available on some tours.  Conditions apply.  Our Services       We offer motor coach tours to travellers of all age groups.  Our tours vary from day tours to over twenty (20) day ventures.  You can travel around Nova Scotia, to all destinations in Atlanctic Canada, to the Magdalen Islands , to several memorable sites in Québec, Ontario and Newfoundland .  We also offer beautiful, unique and exciting destinations in many parts of USA .  Travel insurance can be purchased at our office.

General Information and Policies Responsibilities   Evangeline Charter Tours is proud to act on behalf of its customers for the services provided which include transportation, accommodations and activites outlined in its brochures and flyers.  The company will always try to inform its customers whenever it is deemed necessary to make or accept changes in transportation, dining facilities, shows and attractions.  However, it is the customer's responsibility to be punctual for departures, group activities and other scheduled shows.  The customer is also responsibile for travel insurance (both cancellation and medical in case of sickness and or injury) that can be purchased at our office.   Deposits   A twenty (20) percent deposit is usually required when booking a tour.  Other arrangements can be made to accommodate customers.  It is highly recommended to take the cancellation insurance especially on most tours.   Transportation and luggage   ECT uses modern air-conditioned motor coaches (PA and VCR systems, reclining seats, washrooms).  Each customer receives a tag for one (1) suitcase for luggage handling facilities.  The customer is responsible for store the carry-on in the compartment above the seat.  The rotation of the seats is done daily and there are practically NO EXCEPTIONS.   Cancellation Policy ·         60 days before departure date:  Full refund of amount paid less $25.00 processing fees. ·         59 to 45 days before date of departure: 60% of amount paid is refunded when request is made in writing with a medical certificate. ·         44 to 30 days prior to departure: 30% of amount paid is refunded when request is made in writing with a  medical certificate. ·         29 to 15 days prior to departure: 20% of amount paid is refunded when request is made in writing with a medical certificate. ·         14 to date of departure: NO REFUND. To secure your deposits and your full payment of the tour, ECT highly recommends the purchase of cancellation insurance which will cover a full refund of your deposit or the tour cost.  ECT acts as agent for two (2) Canadian travel insurance companies.  Pickup stations General rule: Valley: Digby and along HWY 101.  Halifax : Smitty's Restaurant on Lacewood Drive . Bridgewater : Canadian Tire. Truro : Irving Mainway, Exit 14. The pick up stations may vary for each tour depending on the number of customers.  Customers will be advised of their pick up station and pick up time. Groups ECT is pleased to meet groups who wish to customize any tour, even the ones we offer at this time.
